World Bosses (LOML) Guide

Introduction

There are 4 new world bosses that arrived with the Land of the Morning Light: Seoul expansion

• You can earn loot for each boss once per week
• This resets every Thursday at midnight (00:00 UTC)
• You can earn boss loot even if you have not completed the main story quest for the region
• Unlike other world bosses, you do not lose crystals if you die to the LOML bosses
• Boss HP is shared across all servers, if the boss dies on one server (eg. Balenos 4) they are dead on all servers.

Weekly Quests

There are 4 weekly quests available for each of the LOML bosses (similar to the Garmoth region quests). These quests allow you to receive boss loot once per week for each boss. So each week if you defeat all 4 bosses once you can earn all 4 reward boxes. Defeating the bosses more than once does not give you extra loot.

The weekly quests appear in your Quest Log (O) under the Recurring tab > [Combat] Land of the Morning Light Boss Subjugation.

However, you do not have to physically take the quest and instead the quest is automatically accepted when you enter the boss spawn location.

After defeating the boss, collect your loot from the ground, then you can click the “Receive Reward” button to obtain the reward box. The reward box contains the main boss loot.

These weekly quests reset every Thursday at 00:00 UTC.

Sovereign Weapon Materials

Each boss drops items used to craft and enhance the Sovereign Weapons.

• Flame of the Primordial (very low chance of dropping)
  • The top 10 players with the highest damage dealt to the boss on each server have a very low chance of obtaining the Flame
• Embers of Primordial (approx 1 ember per box)
• Primordial Crystal (approx 8 crystals per box)

Each boss also drops Reforge Stones which can be used to add an effect to your Sovereign Weapon.

Asadal Accessories

All 4 of the world bosses also drop one of the new Asadal Accessories. These accessories are similar to Tungrad accessories but also have a unique skill that can be used when the accessory is equipped. They also have a chance to be obtained from the Black Shrine (Party) Boss rewards

Asadal Necklace drops from Bulgasal and Sangoon. This necklace allows you to use the “Blessing of Asadal” skill to instantly recover a large amount of HP.

Asadal Belt drops from Uturi and Golden Pig King. The belt allows you to use the “Fury of Asadal” skill and instantly recover a percentage of your Black Spirit’s Rage.
