Introduction

This skill breakdown is a list of all Scholar skills as they appeared on Global Labs on 17th December 2023. The skills are subject to change after Scholar‘s official class release on 20th December 2023. This list may become out of date if any changes are made to the class.

Does Scholar have a grab?

Scholar does have a grab in her skill kit. The skill is called “Gravity’s Grip” (SHIFT + E)

Is Scholar an Evasion or Damage Reduction class?

Scholar is a Damage Reduction class since she does not have an Evasion offhand, Evasion passive, or high Evasion buffs on her skills.

What type of damage is Scholar?

Scholar uses Melee Damage

Does Scholar have a block?

Scholar only has an “S” block

What is Scholar’s Awakening Weapon?

Unlike other classes, Scholar does not have the typical Succession and Awakening specs. She is similar to the Archer class and has an “Ascension”, allowing her to access Awakening skills and weapon.

For Scholar’s Awakening weapon, she combines her 2 one-handed hammers to create a Sledgehammer, which is a 2-handed hammer.

How does her “Gravity Cores” and “Anti-gravity” mechanic work?

Scholar has a “Gravity Cores” mechanic which allows her to control gravity and ignore any fall damage. Therefore, Scholar does not have a falling animation when jumping/falling from high ground.

In addition, her skills are more powerful the higher her hammer attacks from, meaning that Jump Height buffs can increase your skill damage or AOE size.

For example:

Scholar’s passive “Anti-gravity” gives a Jump Height buff for 10 seconds when using the following skills:

• One Small Step, Gravity Field, Gravity Pres, Potential Energy, Hammer Throw

Her sledgehammer (awakening weapon) skills also create alchemic circles, which are used to debuff enemies and buff your allies:

• Defense Nullifying Damage +5 for 10 sec to allies within range on Critical Hits
• All Recovery effects -20% for 10 sec to enemies within range

• All Accuracy Rate +5%,  All DP +20, Melee AP +20

* Despite the skill description on the Action Reaction Passive stating each level gives +0.5%, the total Accuracy Rate applied is only +5% (not +10%). Thank you to mimori_ in the comment section for bringing this to our attention!
