Introduction
The Royal Workshop is a special production workshop you can invest in. It is only available in the Land of the Morning Light: Seoul region and costs 5 contribution points to unlock.
Unlike other housing/workshops you send a worker to, this special workshop can passively produce, process, and deliver exclusive items to earn silver or buff items. In addition, rare materials have a low chance of being produced, and these can be used to craft rare processed trade goods to deliver. These rare trade goods can be transported by yourself and sold for income based on the distance bonus and your trading level.
How to Unlock the Royal Workshops
To get started, click the Seoul city icon on your world map and invest 5 CP (Contribution Points) into the workshop to unlock it.
- You can also access the Royal Workshop directly through ESC menu > Life > Royal Workshops
The Royal Workshops are split into different areas (nodes), such as the Palace Kitchen, Leftward Office, Rightward Office, Military, Infirmary, etc.
Each of these nodes are either a Production or a Processing workshop.
- Production workshops are used to obtain goods that can be used for crafting at a Processing Workshop
- Processing workshops are used to craft goods using materials that were gathered using a Production Workshop

Click on the node icon to bring up the information about that node and the available workshops. Start by gathering materials from a Production Workshop such as the Infirmary.
The material you can gather at a Production Workshop is randomly selected and shown in the UI by the “tick” next the item icon.
Check the different Production Workshops to see what materials are available for you to collect. Certain items such as Rough Red Crystals can be obtained, but these can also be bought from the Central Market, while other production workshops may have items that are only available through the Royal Workshops.
There is also a low chance of very powerful and special buff items appearing. Once collected, these items can either be sold at the Central Market or used directly.
If you want to change the item at the Production Workshop, you can do this once per day for free. After the free refresh, any additional refreshes costs 50 Pearls.
- All workshops refresh their selected items automatically at 00:00 UTC daily.
To change the item, click the refresh button for a new item to be randomly selected. You can also hover over the button for details about the chances of certain items being selected.
Once you are happy with the item you are going to collect, you can then assign a worker and begin production at the Royal Workshop to obtain the selected item. Assign a worker by clicking the [+] button under the Worker Information section.
Once your workers have collected a variety of Royal Workshop goods, you can process these items at the Processing Workshop to create a Trade Item or other special goods.
Unlike the Production Workshop, you can freely select the item you want to craft from the Goods List. The materials required to craft the item are shown on the right side along with information about how many you currently have in the Yukjo Street storage.
Selling your Crafted Goods
Items that have been crafted using the Royal Workshop can either be sold to a Trade Manager NPC, or exchanged at Heo Seungwon for a set vendor price, depending on the item itself.
- Trade items are classed as “specialties”, so they do not turn into a backpack when you carry them, and you can use the Magnus teleport feature.
- However, tagged characters cannot sell Royal Workshop Trade Goods.
- Trade Distance Bonus and your Trading Skill level applies when selling the Royal Workshop Trade Goods.
