Introduction
Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope is a very rare treasure to collect. It requires you to grind monsters to collect 3 rare items to craft it. The items drop from monsters in Ulukita, which is a very high AP grinding spot with a recommended AP of 310 and higher. It can take hundreds if not thousands of hours to acquire all three pieces so just be aware that this is not something you should expect to get quickly if you do decide to go for it. It’s also recommended to use Item Drop increase buffs as much as possible to increase your chances and try to make the grind a little faster.
Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope is permanent when you acquire it.
Creating the Upgraded Telescope
The Upgraded Telescope requires the following items to create it:
Telescope Piece | How to Obtain |
---|---|
Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope Parts | Grinding monsters at Tungrad Ruins |
Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope Parts | Grinding monsters at City of the Dead |
Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope Parts | Grinding monsters at Tungrad Ruins or City of the Dead Exchanging Vodkhan Compass parts |

Obtaining the Telescope Pieces
Tungrad Ruins
Tungrad Ruins is located on the east side of Ulukita and has a minimum recommended AP of 320, and DP of 410. It is also recommended to have at least 920 Accuracy.
The grind spot is very difficult and has a specific mechanic that you must use to defeat the monsters in this zone.
- Focus the Tungrad Visionary monster until it reaches 80-90% HP. The monster will explode and its shield will break.
- You can now crowd-control the Tungrad Visionary and knock them down to deal much more damage to them.
- Defeating the Tungrad Visionary monster will stun all nearby monsters so you can easily defeat them.

City of the Dead also has the following spot mechanics:
- Focus on the Tehmelun Messenger (Wizard) monster. It will start casting a skill when you first pull the pack and will have a yellow effect around it.
- If you crowd-control the Tehmelun Messenger whilst it is casting the skill, it will stop the cast and instead knock down all the monsters in the pack.
- You will also gain a temporary AP buff, so use skill and addons with down attack damage to quickly burst the monsters on the floor.
