Global Lab Changes this week!

New Class – Corsair

• On June 29th, the new class Corsair will be released in all regions including PC and console!

• After launch, Corsair can be transferred immediately by completing an exclusive quest.
• ※ Awakening is scheduled to be updated about 4-5 weeks after its release. (However, the schedule is subject to change.) Awakening will also be filled with various features along with new weapons that did not exist before.
•  For Corsair, until Awakening is released, 100% of the main weapon’s attack power is applied to succession.
  
• ※ The new class Corsair cannot be used at the Black Desert Global Lab until the official server update, and can be created after the July 1st Lab update.

Summer Season

• The summer season has begun.
  •  The Season Server of Black Desert is a server that helps new adventurers adapt and supports their growth.
  •  One of the season servers will be changed to a server for new adventurers. This server can only be accessed by accounts with a total character level of 150 or less within the family or within 30 days (720 hours) of creating a secondary password.
  •  Only season characters can enter the season server.
  •  If you join the season server, you can receive seasonal server-exclusive benefits, such as a buff to increase experience points, support boxes for each level, and the Secret Book of Wind and Mist that allows you to acquire additional skill points.
  •  Season characters cannot wear normal equipment, but can wear ‘Naru’ equipment and ‘Tuvala’ equipment, which is a seasonal equipment. ‘Naru’ equipment can be obtained from the main quests between levels 1 to 55 (from the beginning to the mediah area).
  •  Tuvala equipment can be obtained through the NPC Fugar after completing the Mediah main quest, and it is a high-performance equipment that greatly helps adventurers grow. Tuvala equipment can be strengthened up to the PEN (V) level by using the materials ‘Time-filled Black Stone’, ‘Tuvala Ore’, and ‘Refined Magical Black Stone’ that can only be obtained from the Season Server.
  • ※ Seasonal characters cannot accept Narchillian equipment quests and cannot equip Narchillian equipment.

•  In the summer season, Fughar’s stopwatch item has been added, which can switch between seasonal character status and combat/skill experience.
  • Fugar’s Stopwatch can be acquired only once per family by completing the quest from Fughar as a season character of level 56 or higher.
  •  Fugar’s Stopwatch can only be used with season characters of level 56 or higher and can be used to connect to a normal character below level 25 within your family.
  •  If you switch, the season character status of the season character used will be transferred to the converted character, and the converted character will additionally acquire as much combat/skill experience as the used character has.
  •  If you use Fughar’s Stopwatch, 3 types of Tuvala Main Weapon, Sub-weapon, and Awakening Weapon Exchange Tickets that can be exchanged for Tuvala Weapons are provided in the character’s bag, allowing them to be exchanged for 3 types of Tuvala Weapons suitable for their class.

•  For existing adventurers, a ‘simplified main quest’ that can only be performed by season characters has been added. However, this quest will only be maintained during the season server, and will all disappear after the season ends.
  •  If you have already completed all of Mediah’s main quests with one or more of your existing characters and then completed the ‘[Pet] Bareeds Junide’ quest to NPC Bareeds III, you can proceed with the simplified main quest.
  •  If the season character starts with the main quest and follows the quest up to Velia Village, ytou can then complete the ‘Sage of Velia’ quest and receive the ‘[Season] Beginning of the Famous’ quest from Alustin in Velia Village..
  •  If you proceed with the simplified questline, you cannot proceed with the Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah main quests. Adventurers can obtain rewards whenever they reach each level section in whichever way they choose to level.
  •  If you have completed the last quest ‘[Season] Fugar’s Memorandum Chapter 11’, you will acquire the qualification equivalent to completing the Median main quest, and can start the Valencia main quest.
  •  If you proceed with each additional quest, you will acquire the right to accept inventory expansion quests and some general quests.
•  The simplified main quests that can be performed with a limited season character per family are as follows

There were a lot of requests from existing adventurers whenever the season server was running that they wanted a simplified main quest. To reflect your feedback, we’ve added a simplified main quest for the first time this summer season. However, this quest is a special quest and only operates during the season. You can proceed freely with the simplified version, and you will get all the basic rewards related to naru equipment, as well as the Wind Mist Secret Book that increases skill points.
Oh, even if you proceed with the simplified main quest, you will achieve all the main quest completion goals of the Season Pass.

UI Theme Added

• To celebrate the release of Corsair, a cool UI theme has been added.
  • When you set a theme, the color and design of the UI, such as the title bar and close button of the UI, change.
  • A decoration to feel the summer atmosphere is added above the title bar of some major UIs.
  • The setting can be selected in ESC – Game Settings – Others.

New Hunting Monsters

• Rumors of a new rare hunting animal are spreading in the hunting town of Behr Village.
  • It is said that a bear was discovered somewhere in the Black Desert World where bees make a large beehive and crave the honey from the beehive.
  • It is said that a hyena that broke away from the herd is terrifying the top crossing the desert.
  • There is a special llama who likes to see the stars in the night sky.

•  You can acquire knowledge by chance when hunting rare animals, and you can acquire a title if certain conditions are met.

Farming Moles – New Pet

• Moles with golden skin appearing during farming have been changed as follows.
  •  According to the stories of farmers, rumors of moles with unusual appearances are circulating recently. Farmers call these moles Chou-Chus.
  •  If a giant mole appears during farming, there is a very low chance that multiple soil holes will appear.
  •  A mole with an unusual appearance causes a lot of dust around it before appearing, and the mole appears in only one of them.
  • When a special mole is expelled, it sheds an unusual item and runs away, and if you bring it to Jamkas Wyrmsbane at the Northern Guard Camp, you can get a “Chou-Chu” pet.
  • Also, special moles are much more greedy than giant moles, so they shed more farming byproducts when expelled.
  • Pet Chou-Chu has the appearance of a mole, and can only be combined with Chou-Chu. Also, it cannot be combined with Gospi pets.

UI Changes

• The spacing of the information and button areas at the bottom of the equipment UI has been adjusted.
•  Some typos in the information displayed while using the stable have been corrected.
• When registering a horse in the breeding market in the stable, the following has been corrected.
  • Added comma delimiter to displayed amount
  • Added silver coin word to displayed amount
  •  Fixed some awkward phrases
• Come on! Fixed the issue where the system text was displayed abnormally when the character moved through the Gather icon.
• The phenomenon that some errors may occur in the game play time that can be checked in My Information (P) has been alleviated.

Bug Fixes

• The phenomenon that some of the backgrounds in the following areas looked awkward has been fixed.

Class Changes

Valkyrie

• The bug in which the PvP damage of the Absolute: Ultimate Righteous Charge skill was incorrectly applied has been fixed.

Ninja

• Fixed the issue where the character would temporarily stop when pressing the space bar after using the Brace skill during the cooldown of the Prime: Smokescreen skill.
• Fixed the issue where the backwards moving distance was shortened when linking the Flashing Light skill in a certain motion while using the Bloodthirst: Katana Shower skill.

Guardian

•  Fixed the issue where the attack speed increase effect was not applied when using the skill after acquiring the Core: Glorious Advance version of the skill.
