Introduction
Voltarion is a Tier 9 Dream horse, but unlike the other Dream Horses, it is obtained differently through an item called Trace of Thunderbolt, which can be collected through various PVP and PVE content.
- Voltarion cannot be registered on the Horse Market.
- Voltarion can be sold through Mount Sales and Imperial Delivery.
- If Voltarion attempts to enter castles surrounded by the Dekrogda relic barrier using Double Jump, Lightning Charge (Airborne), or Thunderfall (Airborne), it will be immediately affected by the Dekrogda relic’s waves and fall, just like Mythical Arduanatt and Mythical Diné.
For information about the other Tier 9 Dream horses, please check our Dream Horse guide.
How to obtain the Voltarion Dream Horse
To obtain the Voltarion Dream Horse, you must complete a questline that requires you to hand over Trace of Thunderbolt x300
You also need Trace of Thunderbolt x300 to begin the questline, which can be started by talking to your Black Spirit with the items in your inventory. The first quest in the chain is called [Voltarion] Where Lightning Converges.

Voltarion Dream Horse Skills
The Dream horses can learn any of the skills that a normal horse can learn (except Two Seater skill which can only be learned by Doom).
As well as the T8 horse skills, they can also learn skill exclusive to Voltarion. Learning skills works exactly the same as with normal horses and is completely random, but dream horses tend to be “smarter” and have a higher chance of learning skills.
Voltarion learns Courser’s Spirit, Double Jump, and Sprint as its inherent skills.

Voltarion Dream Horse Stats
Type | Stats | Arduanatt | Diné | Doom | Voltarion |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Base Stats (at Lv. 1) |
Accel. (%) | 137.5% | 133.0% | 130.0% | 140.5% |
Speed (%) | 137.5% | 133.0% | 130.0% | 140.5% | |
Turn (%) | 122.5% | 127.0% | 139.0% | 119.5% | |
Brake (%) | 122.5% | 127.0% | 139.0% | 119.5% | |
HP (HP) | 2,640 | 2,676 | 2,772 | 2,616 | |
Stamina (MP) | 3,541 | 3,529 | 3,497 | 3,551 |
Every time the horse levels up, all four stats will increase by +0.1% to +1.3%. The amount it increases by is completely random at every level, meaning that some horses may have better stats than others. Stats aren’t too important but having better stats does have slight benefits to the speed of the horse.
Check out our Training guide for more details about horse stats.
