Guild Drilling Guide

Introduction

Guild Drilling is a guild activity where members work together to build a Guild Drill. The Guild Drill is then installed in the Valencia Desert, and after a certain amount of time, gives rewards to all guild members and Covenant of Blood, which is used for certain guild buffs. Guild Drills can be attacked and destroyed by other opposing guilds, so it is important to defend your Guild Drill once it is placed.

How to craft a Guild Drill and Drill Fuel

A Guild Drill is crafted using Guild Crafting.

• This can be found in the Guild Window (G) under the “Guild Crafting” Tab.
• Only the Guild Staff, Guild Advisor, or Guild Master can start the crafting process, by clicking the “Select Product” button to choose which item to craft.

• Your guild can craft up to 3 items at a time and once the Staff, Advisor or Master has selected a product, any member of the guild can donate materials to help craft the item.

To craft the Guild Drill, you will need to make 4 different sub-items using Guild Crafting:

• [Guild] Drill Pin x1
• [Guild] Drill Grip x1
• [Guild] Drill Shaft x1
• [Guild] Drill Support x10

These items are then used with [Guild] Blueprint: Drill x250, to make a [Guild] Drill Assembly Set in the Guild Crafting window.

As well as the [Guild] Drill Assembly Set, you will need to make [Guild] Drill Fuel x5 in advance, which is also crafted using Guild Crafting

Drill Fuel Crafting Materials

You need to make x5 Drill Fuel in advance. The drill requires fuel once it is placed, and if it is destroyed without any fuel inside, your guild will not receive rewards.

Use the Guild Crafting window to craft [Guild] Drill Fuel.

Placing and Defending your Guild Drill

Once you have your [Guild] Assembly Kit and [Guild] Drill Fuel x5, you need to go into the Valencia Desert (where the map is hidden) on one of your Guilds Home Channels.

• You cannot place a Drill on a server where there is an ongoing node/conquest war.

The Guild Master, Guild Advisor, Guild Staff, Guild Secretary, or Guild Officer can install the Drill.

Your guild also needs to have the “Nature’s Gift” Guild Skill to install the drill.

Only one Guild Drill can be placed at a time.

Once the Drill is placed, a message will appear at the top for all players on the server, and a 15-minute timer will start.

Interact with the Drill using “R” to open the Drill Window. Here you can see the current progress of the drill.

Place Drill Fuel x5 into your Guild Drill.

If there is Fuel in the Guild Drill, it will progress over the next 45 minutes.

Once the progress bar reaches 100%, a message appears to say that the drill has finished drilling. You can now interact with the drill again and press the “Gather Drilled Material” button to collect the rewards.

Guild Drilling Rewards

After clicking the “Gather Drill Materials” button, the rewards are sent to all guild members and can be collected from your Guild Activity Reward UI for the next 30 days.

• If the drill was destroyed by a rival guild, you earn fewer materials from Drilling
• If the drill has no fuel inside it when it is destroyed by a rival guild, you earn no reward materials
• If the drill does not have fuel added for 1 hour after being installed, you earn no reward materials

Guild Buffs – [Guild] Covenant of Blood

Successfully completing the Guild Drilling will reward you with [Guild] Covenant of Blood x20.

This item is required to use 3 guild skills, and the only way to get the Covenant of Blood is through Guild Drilling.

• The buffs from these Guild skills have a shorter cooldown (1h 40m) compared to the other Guild Skills (5h).
• The buff is also much stronger than the regular Guild Skill buffs and can be stacked with them if used at the same time.

Faded Trader’s Box

After successfully completing the Guild Drilling, you can obtain 1 random Faded Trader’s Box. When you open the box, you are given a random Secret Voucher, which can be exchanged at Wolfgang in Calpheon for a special Trade Item.

Go to Wolfgang in Calpheon, and accept the relevant quest to receive the trade item. You can then sell the trade item at a Trade Manager for silver.

• Bargain bonus and distance bonus is applied, as with other trade items.
• The trade item orgin is always Navarn Steppe, so the best to sell the items in Valencia or Nampo for the highest distance bonus.
• Make sure you have the nodes connected to receive the full trade price.

Traces of Time Fossil Fragment

If you successfully complete the drilling process, you can obtain x4 Traces of Time Fossil Fragments.

You can use Processing (L) > Grinding, to obtain an item at random:

Secret Treasure Chest

Successfully completing the drilling process awards you with a Secret Treasure Chest x1.
