Introduction
The Valentine’s Day Adventure Log is an adventure journal that is only available during limited event periods, usually at the beginning of February to celebrate the Valentine’s Day holiday.
The adventure log only takes 5-10 minutes to complete (not including collecting the materials) and all the NPCs you need to interact with are in Velia town. Before you start, I recommend collecting or buying Special Sunflower Seed x1, Logs x500, and Mercenary’s Seal x1 (obtained by defeating a world boss/field boss).
The Valentine’s Day Adventure Log can only be completed once per account, and gives the following rewards:
- Black Stone x5
- Sharp Black Crystal Shards x6
- Cron Stones x30
- Memory Fragment x10
- Caphras Stone x20
- [Event] Perfume of Courage x1
- Fine Accessory Box II x1
- RMB to obtain one of the following: Ogre Ring, Tungrad Earring, Laytenn’s Power Stone
If the event is active, you can view the chapters and begin to complete the tasks in each one. Open your ESC menu and go to the “Adventure” tab and then select “Adventure Log Bookshelf” to view your available adventure logs.
Click the book under “Event Logs” to get started.
When you complete a goal, you must press the reward text in your Adventure log to receive the reward. Use the buttons at the bottom of the pages to turn each page of the chapter.
Valentine’s Day Adventure Log: Book 1
Chapter 1: Rumors in Velia
Reward: Black Stone x5
To complete the first chapter, interact with the Apple Tree near the Blacksmith Tranan Underfoe. You will get a pop-up saying “HIdden Note”.
Chapter 2: The Client
Reward: Sharp Black Crystal Shard x3
Talk to the “client” villager, standing opposite Alustin.
Chapter 3: The Woman Who Stole His Heart
Reward: Sharp Black Crystal Shard x3
For this chapter, you need to speak to Marsella, she is the Jewel Vendor and can be found opposite Jetina and near the Velia Stable Keeper.
Chapter 4: A Suspicious Customer
Reward: Cron Stone x10
Now you need to raise your amity with Marsella to 100 amity. This is done by using the “Conversation” option when you chat to her. You can also raise your amity by spamming the “Greet” option, but this typically uses more energy. Once you reach 100 or higher amity, use the chat option to complete the chapter.
Chapter 5: Her Ideal Type
Reward: Memory Fragment x10
For this chapter, you simply need to talk to Marsella again and use the chat option to “Ask her about her ideal type”.
Chapter 6: Preparing for Confession I
Reward: Caphras Stone x10
You now need to go back to the “client” villager opposite Alustin. Talk to the “client” and hand over a Special Sunflower Seed. You can usually buy this seed straight from the Central Market, or if none are available, you can obtain them by breeding Sunflower seeds on your farm.
Chapter 7: Preparing for Confession II
Reward: Caphras Stone x10
Next, you need to take a Mercenary’s Seal to Tachros the Velia Skill Instructor. To get the Mercenary’s Seal, you need to defeat a World Boss or Field boss. The drop is not 100% guaranteed, but has a very high drop rate, and you only need 1 of these items to hand over.
Chapter 8: Preparing for Confession III
Reward: Cron Stone x20
For this chapter, you need to hand over 500 Logs to the “client” villager back at Alustin. This chapter is the most annoying in the Valentine’s Day Adventure Journal because logs are usually not on the central market and have high preorders. You can either sit and wait for a preorder or go and gather 500 logs yourself. There are quite a lot of trees nearby Velia in the forest south of Bartali Farm and Toscani Farm. You just need a Lumbering Axe and energy to start chopping! You can also turn on your Agris Fever for extra gathering materials and use a Seafood Cron Meal with Verdure Draught to speed up your gathering time.
Chapter 9: Borrowing the Power of Alchemy
Reward: [Event] Perfume of Courage x1 and Fine Accessory Box II x1
To complete this final chapter, you just need to speak with Alustin. He will give you a Fine Accessory Box II which you can open using RMB. The box can contain an Ogre Ring, Tungrad Earring, or Laytenn’s Power Stone.
