Introduction
Cup Accessory Upgrades are items that can be fused to certain accessories to give them extra stats. Some of the materials required to craft these Cups drop from different Serendia Elvia grind spots and cannot be obtained any other way. You can also buy the cups directly from the central market, but most of the cups are always sold out and at the max price, so you may have to grind the materials yourself.
The Cup of Arid Moonlight though is always abundant on the market and very cheap for the stats it provides. Any new player should get this as soon as possible and put it on their PEN Capotia Necklace while they grind for the rest of the cup upgrades.

The lowest gear recommendation for Elvia’s Realm grind spots is 260 AP with 310 DP and there is a mix of solo and group spots.
You can enter/exit Elvia’s Realm by clicking the 
icon in the upper right corner of the screen (next to the mini-map).

The following rings can be upgraded:

For the Ring upgrade, it really comes down to preference and you can choose either. The Critical Damage is more useful for PVE, but most players choose the HP upgrade for a bit of extra survivability.

For the Belt upgrade, most players choose the Damage Reduction cups (Cup of Lone Tide). This is because both of these options give “hidden” stats and not sheet AP/DP. The DR on the belt is considered to be more meaningful than 3 hidden AP, in both PVE and PVP. In PVE, this hidden AP may also be capped by the Monster AP Caps, so DR is just a better choice overall.

Kharazad Accessories – Exclusive Cup Upgrades
Kharazad Accessories have an exclusive cup upgrade which can only be added to them and no other accessories in the game.
The exclusive cups can be crafted by Processing (L) > Heating the other cups with a new item called Essence of Dawn
Essence of Dawn can be obtained in the following ways:
- How to Obtain #1: Heating Dawn’s Aura x1 with certain yellow grade TET (IV) and PEN (V) accessories
- How to Obtain #2: Heating crystals obtained from Morning Light monster zones
- How to Obtain #3: Exchange Essence of Dawn – Black Spirit’s Rage/Accuracy/Damage Reduction/Evasion according to a 1:1 ratio via NPC Dalishain

Extra Shards with Marni Stones
Elvia Marni Stones can be bought from Wacky Toshi at Glish for 110,000 silver each. Filling and handing in these stones will reward you with a choice of Elvia loot items including the Shards needed for each of the Accessory Cups.
It is recommended to always buy the Elvia Marni Stones when you grind, and exchange them for the shards, even if you are crafting the accessories to sell.

How to add the Cups to your Accessory
Cups are added to your accessories through the Black Spirit. Summon the Black Spirit then choose the “Item Reform” button. You can then select your accessory and the cup item. Click “Reform” to fuse the cup to your accessory.
Removing/Extracting Cups
Since the patch in November 2022, there are two methods for removing/extracting a cup from an upgraded Ring, Earring, Belt, or Necklace:
Questing Method (Removing)
Caution:
- This method will remove the cup but you will NOT keep the cup.
- If your accessory is branded with your name or tagged, your accessory will no longer be branded/tagged after removing the cup.
Go to Lejenti in Glish to accept the relevant quest. She can be found in the basement at Glish and you do not need to be on the Elvia realm to talk to her. Accept the “Cleansed Cup” quest and hand over the accessory to Lejenti. She will then remove the cup and give you back your accessory.
Crafted Item Method (Extracting)
This method allows you to keep the cup, but you will need to first craft an extraction item. This item can be expensive to craft, but not as expensive or annoying as buying/grinding the cup from scratch.

How to obtain the crafting materials:
Fused Crystal of Emotions
- Purchase one for 50 million Silver in Wacky Toshi’s Shop or
- Obtain x1 by Processing (L) > Heating:

Forest Fury
- Obtain by killing monsters in the Kamaslyvia region.
- Can also be bought from the central market.
Magical Shard
- Obtain by Heating (L) Yellow-grade Black Magic Crystals or Sealed Black Magic Crystal.
Once you have the extraction item, go to a Blacksmith and click the “Extraction” option, then “Extract Reform Stone”.
You will use the Refined Essence of Emotions to safely remove the Cup from your accessory.
