Introduction
A Marni Stone is an item you can buy from Wacky Toshi. When you kill monsters, you collect the kills in the stone, and after filling a stone you can give it back to Wacky Toshi for Combat EXP or additional Elvia loot, depending on the stone you buy.
- You must buy the correct Marni Stone for the area you are grinding
- Only the last hits on monsters count as a kill, so if you are grinding in a party, you won’t get credit for every kill.
- You can buy several Marni Stones at once, but only one will be filled at a time.
- Marni Stones do not weigh anything, but each one takes up an inventory space
- Marni Stones (except Greater Marni Stones) are character-bound, you cannot store them on a horse in storage
- Blue Marni Stones = In progress
- Yellow Marni Stones = Empty
- Red Marni Stones = Full
You can right-click a Marni Stone to track the kills on your UI.

- Wacky Toshi can be found in various locations around the world, including some of the grind spots he sells Marni Stones for.
- Use BDOlytics.com to discover all of Wacky Toshi’s locations.
- Once you’ve discovered him, you can search for him using the Find NPC function.

Combat EXP Marni Stones
Combat EXP Marni Stones can be bought at the grind spot node manager and reward a fixed amount of Combat EXP when you exchange them.
- You can only buy Combat EXP Marni Stones if you are level 57 or higher, and the EXP gained from them is significantly reduced after you reach level 62.
There are 2 different tiers for each stone:
- Tier 1 – costs 60,000 silver and requires 250 monster kills
- Tier 2 – costs 110,000 silver and requires 500 monster kills
EXP for each level
- It is recommended to use the Tier 1 stones for all spots (except Tshira, Bloodwolves and Sherekhans) because 2 of the Tier 1 stones give more EXP than 1 of the Tier 2 stones.

Elvia Marni Stones
Elvia Marni Stones can be bought from Wacky Toshi at Glish for 110,000 silver each. Filling and handing in these stones will reward you with a choice of Elvia loot items.

Great Marni Stones
Unlike the other Marni Stones, the Great Marni Stone is a rare drop you can get when grinding in certain grinding spots. The Great Marni Stone requires much more monsters and does not reward EXP. Instead, you can take it to Wacky Toshi once it is filled for a Great Marni’s Support Box.
- Great Marni Stones are NOT character-bound and can be placed in your storage.
- Kills are maintained and do not reset when putting the Stone in storage.
- Collecting all of the Great Marni Stones, rewards you with special titles and unlocks 1 max energy.
