The class reboots will be released on the live servers once they are completed for all the classes.
Before using the skills of rebooted classes on the Black Desert Global Lab, please make sure to reset your character’s skills to minimize any possible issues.
Patch notes related to the class reboot on the Black Desert Global Lab will be translated to other languages and released afterward.
Warrior
Awakened Warriors first focused on hunting-oriented improvement as a point.
Awakening skills have low damage compared to most of them, which have long cooldowns. So, after pouring out a lot of skills in an instant, the remaining cooldown time had to be filled with non-awakening skills.
To improve this part, the attack range and damage have been increased, and the defense-increasing effects attached to various parts of the skill have been replaced with effects that are more helpful in combat.
The biggest change is the cancellation skill. As many warrior adventurers have told us to protect the warrior’s unique handling, Q Cancel and C Cancel, which are the most used, have been further strengthened, while other skills have been adjusted. It is expected that this will improve the part that was referred to as ‘damage leaking in certain skills’ while making it easier to control.
However, there are skills that are activated later than before, so the operation may feel a bit cumbersome. We want to improve the functionality of the Warrior while preserving the handling feeling. Thank you for the enthusiastic feedback from many warrior adventurers.
In addition, the flow skills that had low utility in the main weapon skill (Begak) were integrated and reorganized. Now, if you learn only the main skill, the effect of the previous flow skill will be applied as well.
Improvements have been made to the Succession Warrior so that they can be more active in combat situations with multiple players. For example, skills that had low utility, such as echo of the battlefield and mad dash, have been greatly strengthened. In addition, the PvP damage and attack range of Prime: Ground Smash, and the attack range of Prime: Ground Smash skill have been greatly increased. In addition, the preceding actions of Prime: Scars of Dusk and Prime: Counterattack Stance have been improved more quickly to mitigate the risk of unsuccessful attacks.
Strong: Fixed the issue where the Shield Strike skill was activated before the intended skill when another skill command was entered after using a specific skill. And the stun effect applied when the last hit is successful has been changed to a knockdown effect. In addition, by adding a prior art that leads to the last blow of Kang: Shield Strike, the linkage has been improved.
Lastly, the attack range applied to strong: bang, counterattack, counterattack, etc. has been changed, and the section where the maximum damage of the skill is applied has been greatly increased.

Ranger
Rangers were very limited in moving after using a skill while holding a bow, or linking with other skills. After most of the skills, they didn’t link with movement or other skills until the attack action was completely finished. This part becomes difficult to feel the more you get used to the connection of skill, but it can be a big frustration for adventurers who are just starting out.
As the number of characters approaching quickly increased, it was difficult for the Ranger to keep sufficient control in terms of stamina and damage just by attacking while moving with the short-lived gale skill. Accordingly, the flow: Circling Wind skill has been reorganized so that the continuous activation speed is a little slow, but it is possible to continuously put a check while saving stamina. In addition, in order to be able to use it as a skill that can smoothly check and attack, the flow: vortexing wind skill has been improved so that the tearing arrow skill can be fired immediately after the charging is completed.
In the case of awakening, there were many opinions about the lack of long-distance containment skill. To this end, we have added a long-distance containment skill so that you can contain it from a distance. In addition, to compensate for the fact that there is no defense determination during the cooldown of the Wind Walk skill, which makes it vulnerable during that time, the cooldown has been adjusted to 2 seconds and a mobile skill has been added. The added movement skill can only move in one direction at the moment, but it will be improved in the future, and the wind riding skill will also be remade so that it can be used right away.
Vine Knot and Elemental Binding Flow Skills Flow: Rooting Skills will also be integrated into their respective skills, such as Flow: Wind Awl and Flow: Sky Knot skills. The Ranger’s powerful skills, Re-creation and Nature’s Temptation, had a long cooldown as they deal higher damage than other skills. The cooldown time of both skills has been greatly reduced so that they can be used more frequently.
The flow where the hit was dispersed and the utilization was low: Disillusionment unified all the hit ranges into one range and increased the utilization. For a similar reason, Howling Wind also unifies the range of all hits and changes the effect accordingly.
With this patch, the ranger character can also use the back attack regardless of distance, and the overall damage has been increased. Accordingly, PVP damage will continue to be adjusted to a level similar to that of other characters, and PvE performance will also be improved to move in a positive direction.
