Found below are the content update patch notes for the February 15th, 2017 update. This update features many quality of life improvements as well as share the first week’s results from Valentine’s Popularity Contest. The patch file size will be approximately 3.03 GB in total

Event winners’ screenshots have been added to the game. On the following screens; Start Screen, Server Selection Screen, and Loading Screen.

Some houses have been changed to have additional interior space. Future development work will be done to increase the enjoyment of house decoration for players.

The basement of house 2-3 in Velia has been changed to have more space.

Hide Option for Pet and Maid have been added within the residence. The option buttons can be found between ‘Veiw Underwear’ icon and ‘Place Mode’ button.

[Weekend Double Attendance Reward] has been added.
-
On Saturdays and Sundays, players can receive the attendance reward two times each day. One attendance reward is received automatically at login and the second reward can be claimed after being logged on for one hour.

The attendance rewards exceeding the current days can’t be claimed. For example, if 7 days have passed since event began, only 7 days worth of rewards can be claimed. Double attendance rewards can only be effective if you’ve missed days in the event. If 7 days have passed and you’ve claimed 6 or less days worth of rewards then you can claim up to max 7 days worth of rewards with using weekend double attendance rewards. Another way to look at the weekend double attendance reward is to look at it as a catch up mechanic if you’ve missed days during the event period.

The current Loyal Attendance reward has already ended as of 2/15 UTC and the weekend double attendance reward will be effective as of the next upcoming attendance reward event. As for the New & Returning Attendance Reward event, it is still currently ongoing and weekend double attendance reward will come into effect right away.

You can now set a hotkey for your workers, horse, pet, etc… icons in the upper left hand side of the main screen. This can be done via the game settings – UI hotkeys section.

A new Pearl Shop Alarm sound effect has been added to let users know when the action being taken requires a pearl item the user does not own.

[On/Off] Function has been added in the game settings for the pearl shop item alert.

You can now enter the pearl shop when on mounts (such as a boat, cart, or elephant), while fishing, and while playing mini-games.

A system message has been added to indicate when you are attempting to enhance a locked item or extract a crystal from it.

The path guide and distance UI elements are now turned off when taking a screenshot in the Beauty Album and Photo Gallery.

The amount of Trade Experience earned has been decreased when trading goods within 500 meters of its origin, however the value remains unchanged.

The Traveler’s Map can no longer be used while holding trade goods (backpacking).

The Client will no longer be closed when you open a customization file that was created while not being connected to the game.

You can now link items in a whisper.

The sound effect for the alert message of another player’s item obtain has been turned off.

‘Fish Trap’ has been changed to ‘Fish Drying Yard’

You can now obtain dried fish from the Fish Drying Yard.

- Check button has been added to Boat information UI to toggle on and off displaying totems.
All Classes
All weapons will no longer appear during the level up animation.
Wizard, Witch, Kunoichi, and Ninja will now attack with their fist while pressing the C key if the character does not have a mainhand weapon equipped.
Improved the character animation when dismounting a horse.
Improved the character animation when sitting, or moving with a fishing rod.
Improved the graphical appearance of characters hair during snowy and rainy weather.
Characters’ hair and costumes will appear more naturally-colored during evening and dawn lighting.
- Fixed the issue where a player in Awakening Weapon Stance, would use the ‘Tab’ key to put away their weapon while jumping and cause an unusual motion.
Improved the graphical appearance of certain costumes while attacking with a great sword.
Effect added on the skill [Flow: Ankle Break]
When the skill [Flow: Armor Break] is used, the effect will now appear even if the hit was not successful.
The AP buff from using Great Sword Defense skill and the special buff from using Rage Absorption skill not overlapping issue has been fixed so that both buffs can be applied at the same time.
Scars of Dusk skill description has been slightly changed.

Fixed an issue with some of the character graphics when switching from fishing float to awakening weapon during auto movement.

Fixed an issue where the dye slots were not correctly appearing when the character wears the costume Fairy Jackie.
Can now run fast when right clicking during auto movement.
Fixed an issue with some of the character graphics when switching from fishing float to awakening weapon during auto movement.
When Flow: Geyser has been unlocked, landing Tree Climb skill and connecting it with Heilang: Surging Tide skill, the linking animation has been changed to be faster.
Void Lightning I, II range has been increased.
Heilang: Trample I, II range has been increased.
When monsters are hit with Heilang: Roaring skill’s explosion, it has been fixed so that the monsters aren’t blasted very far away.
This change will be fixed during the following week’s maintenance for when Heilang: Roaring skill is used while mounted on Heilang.
When the explosion from Heilang: Roaring skill is successfully landed, the Air Smash effect has been changed to Air Attack.

The animation has been improved when using the skill [Sanctitas de Enslar] via hotkey while in the long sword combat stance.
The attack range for the skill [Blitz Stab] has been changed.

When using Judgement of Light with Black Spirit’s Rage 100%, the slow camera effect has been changed to be less slow.
- The issue that occurred when a long sword and float are both equipped and the character is in default idle stance, float would display in the main hand where the long sword should appear.
Fixed an issue where the damage for the skill [Electric Storm] and [Fiery Judgment] was not applied in certain circumstances.
The damage will still not be applied if there is an obstacle between the caster and the target.
The debuff duration for the skill [Ritardando] has been increased.
Awakening weapon combat stance will remain on when you use the skills [Magic Lighthouse], [Spellbound Heart], and/or Summon your elemental pets with an awakened weapon.
The animation for Rage Absorption when in Awakening Weapon Stance has been changed.
Super Armor effect from Earthquake skill has been changed to apply Super Armor throughout the skill use animation and not only the casting phase.

When using the skill [Water Sphere] multiple times, the character will now correctly move forward.
[Witch]
The graphics have been improved for the 22nd hairstyle in customization.
- Character movement distance has been decreased slightly when using the skill [Detonative Flow] multiple times.
Description text has been re-arranged for the skill [Dragon Bite I].
Fixed an issue where the arrow would appear in the character’s hand while using the back Chase during stub arrow charge.
Improved the graphical appearance during customization while wearing Mt. Palgong outfit.
The animation and motion has been improved for the movement with right-clicking while sitting.

After learning Star Throw III, moving backwards and using the ability would not properly apply the damage and has now been resolved.
- [Magic Shuriken Exchange I] quest can only be accepted by Ninjas.
The issue where Flow: Sky Stepping skill was able to be used consecutively while in Sah Chakram stance has been fixed to max 3 consecutive uses.
Accuracy has been added to Flash Slash skill.

When using Flash Slash with Black Spirit’s Rage 100%, the damage to monsters have been decreased.
When using Flash Slash with Black Spirit’s Rage 100%, the damage in PVP has been increased.
After learning Star Throw III, moving backwards and using Star Throw did not apply damage correctly. This issue has been fixed.
- [Magic Kunai Exchange I] quest can only be accepted by Kunoichis
If an item doesn’t have any information for the crafting note, the crafting information guide text will no longer appear.
When you switch rings or earrings from your equipment, they will now be switched with the items containing lower stats.
Some of the item drops from the Golden Treasure Chest, and Sealed Golden Treasure Chest have been changed.
Marketplace register price has been adjusted for boss armors and weapons of enhancement levels between 5 and TRI.
The description has been changed for the item ‘Small Leather Elephant Mask’.

When you combine 3 green reagents and 1 blue reagent through simple alchemy, you get the blue grade elixir.

- The price from the NPC shop for the item Magic Crystal of Perfection has been adjusted.
Pearl Shop Update
Reservation function has been added to the night vendor.
If the item is in the market purchase window and you click the ‘Pre-Order’ button, the item will be reserved for 15 minutes.
When you open the market within the time limit for the pre-order, you will see the item you have booked without consuming energy.
Even though the night time may have potentially passed (22:00 ~ 07:00) you can still open the store window and purchase the pre-ordered item inside the time window. (You cannot view other items though)
If you click to view another item while you have a pre-ordered item, the pre-order will be automatically canceled.
The booked item will be family bound, players cannot book multiple items from multiple characters.
All party members will no longer be able to receive loot from monster drops if there is more than a 10-level difference between members of the party.
Added a new description to the party invite interface, ‘You cannot obtain any loot if there is more than a 10-level difference between party members’.
Players will be able to move in a more natural manner when attacked while taking out or checking in a boat at a guild wharf manager.
You can now send a duel request to a player who is having another duel.
If the player accepts you can now also participate in the duel.
Fixed an issue where the [Guild] Flag of Determination was able to be built in a non-siege area.
Maximum resurrect standby time during the node war has been changed from 120 to 60 seconds.
This will only be applied to node wars, not conquest wars.
Fixed an issue where you could not hit barricades near the Flag of Determination in certain circumstances.
You can no longer use alchemy stones growth if there are no empty slots in the inventory.
You can now activate observation mode by pressing [Space] while you are on a Galley or Epheria Sail boat and in the crows nest.

Fixed an issue where the character would not properly hold the bridle on a donkey, horse, and baby elephant.
When equipping an item (Excluding Pearl items), Black Spirit’s Rage will be reset.
Movement speed has been increased when using the skill Speedy Cruise on the Galley and Epheria sailboat.
Floating lost debris have been added to the Magoria Ocean:
You can find a lost debris randomly in the ocean during sailing.
You can open the lost debris with silver key to find some nice treasure.
The Treasure includes trading goods, golden treasure chest, bottle with message.
A delivery category has been added for obtaining the seal of imperial trade.
Changed the location of where the larger ships are summoned, when summoned through the Velia Wharf Manager & Guild Wharf Manager.
Changed the distance required to automatically deposit a ship to a Wharf Manager to be closer to the NPC.
Players with alchemy at apprentice level 1 or above can now try and upgrade all versions of alchemy stones.

Auto-pathing has been improved to direct the players closer to their selected destinations,
When auto-pathing on a boat, moving in wide zigzag directions has been decreased.
- Loyalty store items with limited purchase volumes will no longer display a purchase button when the limit has been reached.
The obtaining condition for the Social Action ‘Confidence’ has been changed to completing the level 50 quest [To Level 50!] Giant Catfishman Qoobe.
The monster ‘A Huge Catfishman Qoobe’ has had their AP decreased.
The Lv. 50 promotion boss Qoobe has been changed to disappear after 2 minutes of non-combat.

Movement speed for some NPC’s have been changed to appear more natural when wandering.
Stray Cats and Dogs in Velia have gotten use to the players in town and will no longer run away from them.

The recognition and action range of some monsters at Calpheon Refugee Camp have been decreased.
The Cyclops near Crie, the Crioville General Goods Vendor, have been changed to not aggro players as far away.
Changed the placement of some monsters in the Gahaz Bandit’s Lair to be easier to attack.
Changed the race info to appear on the monster status bar, the icon will now only be visible.
Some boss monsters category type was changed from Leader to Human, or Demihuman.
The target location will now be marked for the quest ‘Rumbling Sand Dune’.
The Black Spirit quest has been completely reworked for levels 1 to 50.
Quests starting at level 1 to 50 for the black spirit quest have been changed to the main story quests.
The main quest can be accepted and progressed from the black spirit or involved NPC’s.
The quest accept condition has been simplified so that the main quest can be completed more efficiently and easily.
If you have only completed a portion of the black spirit quest prior to this change you will now need to progress through the new main story quests in order.
All on-going black spirit quests between level 1 and 50 will be reset due to the quest renewal.
Instead of the old on-going quest, the new main quest will be added according to the character level on the quest widget.
The pre-step quests of the new main quest will pretend to be completed.
Certain rewards from the forcibly completed quests, such as weapon box or sub-weapon box will be rewarded via in-game mail.
However, certain rewards which can have influences on the story line, such as knowledge, will not be given.
[Co-op] quests changed to [Boss] quests between level 1 and 50.
From these [Boss] quests, you can obtain contribution and combat EXP only.
The old reward such as inventory expansion and skill points can be received from the newly added quest ‘The gift from the black spirit’.
You can now obtain the ‘The gift from the black spirit’ quest when you defeat boss monsters or complete some other great task in-game.
If you complete the [co-op] or inventory expansion quests before the update, you will not be able to accept the replacement quest ‘The gift from the black spirit’.
If you have the [co-op] or inventory expansion quests uncompleted, you can get the replacement quest ‘The gift from the black spirit’.
The text ‘in a certain chance’ has been removed from the description of the following items:
Elixir of Human Hunt
Elixir of Demihuman Hunt
The description has been changed for the knowledge ‘Withering Desert Outlaws’.
You can now obtain the knowledge of Bree Tree Forest Cave by interacting with the NPC in the cave near Bree Tree Ruins.
All impossible to complete quest series have been removed from the quest UI.

Trade quests that could be received from the Alca Antoure NPC have been removed.
Characters who have completed the ‘Workshop Carpenter’ quest can now receive the ‘Bring Equipment’ quest without any specific conditions.
The quest ‘The Dark Bautt Lithograph’ has been removed from the Main quests.
The movement range for the quest target Rushing Kuku Bird has been changed.
Fixed an issue where un-receivable quests were appearing on the world map.
A level requirement has been added on the quest ‘Exchange the armor of Magical Power’ [Level 50 is now required]
Some quests starting conditions have been changed.
Quest acceptance conditions for quests that follow [Delphe Outpost] have changed. The new conditions are level 30 or higher and life preference type must be activated.

You can get the knowledge Heidel Northern Highlands instantly from the NPC Berman near the Northern Quarry.
Fixed an issue where the recommended quest after certain points were not properly appearing during the Mediah main quests.
The target amount for quest completion has been changed from 10 to 3 for the quest ‘For a sharper weapon #6: The Giants’.
- The issue where an exchange button for Big Black Feather was displayed by the NPC Igor Bartali has been fixed.
When you equip the items with the delete/sell/enhance prevent function, the lock icon and its description will appear on the equipment window.
Fixed an issue where the confirmation window was not popping up correctly when you set the item on the quick slot key and used it (for items that had a confirmation window).
The sub reward will be reset when you receive the reward item from stacked completed challenges.
The level gap monster alert message will not appear if you are in the safe zone.
You will now see the number pad when you register an item on the marketplace and enter a price.
Fixed an issue where the mouse over text would remain in certain circumstances on the marketplace.

The sub window on the Skill UI has been changed to now show learnable skills and all skills in separate tabs.
You can sort learnable skills by recommended, high points, and low points.
You can sort all skills by high points and low points.
The skill name search function has been added to the right side of the skill UI.
The spacing should be matched with the skill name for the skill search to function.
The world map filter design has been changed, and the user customize function has been integrated with the basic information.
The world map camera angle setting function has been added to the [Game Settings – Game] menu.
The recommended level information on the world map has been changed for the Valencia territory.
Fixed an issue where the craft note was not activated after clicking the craft note during crafting from storage.

Players can set the [On/Off] function for the main quest widget separately from the current quest widget. [This cannot be disabled before level 50]
Recently renewed quests and normal quest settings have been added to the quest widget setting.
When you set the recently renewed quest to on, a maximum of 3 quests will appear on the upper portion of the normal quest widget.
Normal quest means any quests other than the main and recently renewed quests, and can be set [On/Off] from the settings menu.
